Radiohead are an English alternative rock band from Abingdon, Oxfordshire that was originally formed in 1986. Originally called “On a Friday”, in reverence to the day the band rehearsed, the band changed their name to “Radiohead” at the request of their record label EMI. The band’s name comes from a Talking Head’s song “Radio Head” off of the “True Stories” album.
The band is composed of Thom Yorke (lead vocals, other instruments), Jonny Greenwood (lead guitar, other instruments), Colin Greenwood (bass guitar, synthesisers), Ed O’Brien (guitar, backing vocals) and Phil Selway (drums, percussion).
Radiohead become one the biggest alternative band to come out the 1990s, to date selling over 80 million albums worldwide.

I saw these guys live for the first time at the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco in 2008. I was absolutely blown away. First off - killer light show - but the music was fantastic. These guys are definitely very good live and worth every penny. They put on a great show.
