Buddy Guy’s new album “Skin Deep“(iTunes link) has reached #68 on the Billboard 200.  At 72 Buddy Guy seems to be turning out some of his best work.  His previous chart record was #136 with the 1991 release “Damn, Right I’ve Got The Blues” (iTunes link).

Reviews so far are positive, with highlights including “Best Damn Fool” and the title track “Skin Deep”.  Guy also enlisted some help with this album, including some of the best blues guitarists around.  Eric Clapton, Derek Trucks and Robert Randolph all make appearances along with Susan Tedeschi.
