Rickenbacker Remains In The Family
We found a great piece today on Rickenbacker guitars. Rickenbacker has been a family run business for 77 years. The company continues to make all of it’s guitars in the US at it’s own factory. This dedication to quality and consistency has paid off in spades and Rickenbacker now enjoys a 2-year backlog of orders.
Richenbackers were really had a boost in popularity after the Beatles’s John Lennon began using the Rickenbacker 325 and appeared with one on the Ed Sullivan show.
Company owner, John Hall, apparently receives unsolicited bids for the company about once a month, but remains dedicated to his family’s legacy and his employees and keeps the company small.
