Chordbook Version 1.2 Now Available from iTunes App Store
We have been fans of the iPhone as a platform for guitar based applications since shortly after Apple launched its App Store. Our favorite guitar-based application for the device is chord lookup because let’s be honest, sometimes it isn’t easy to remember the fingering for a D# maj9 on the fly. While we often use the 7 Chords application, we must admit that Chordbook is even more robust. Today, the developer of Chordbook released version 1.2 of the application. The new version has many improvements including:
* a new menu for quicker navigation
* quick lookup of 2,448 guitar chords
* “what’s this chord?” reverse chord lookup
* a new more comprehensive help menu
* guitar, bass and keyboard views
If you have an iphone and don’t have 2,448 guitar chords loaded into it, this one is worth a shot.

How does this compare to Guitar Toolkit, which has also added a lot of features (and chords!) since your original review?
