Phish has announced a new string of tour dates to follow their reunion show in early March.  Phish has been on hiatus since August 2004 but recently announced a string of shows in Hampton, Virginia.  Rumors had been swelling up that a reunion was on its way after reports from Trey Anastasio, lead singer and guitarist, began contacting the other members about reuniting.

Trey Anastasio plays a custom, hand built Languedoc G2 and has recently been considering, at the bequest of fans, a Ross Compressor in his signal chain.

The June 2009 run of 10 shows will cover east coast and mid-west venues including some Phish favorites like Jones Beach and Alpine Valley.  Rumors are also circulating that the seminal jamband may make an appearence at the Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, Tennessee.  Hippies around the world are rejoicing.
