Easy Acoustic Songs

People regularly ask us for suggestions for easy acoustic guitar songs.  From our perspective to really be an easy acoustic song, it should use standard chords (chords like C, D & G), have very few barre chords and not require really frequent chord changes.  Accordingly, we consider Hurt by Johnny Cash to be an easy acoustic song and we’d also consider Heart of Gold by Neil Young to be an easy acoustic guitar song.  With all that established, here is our list (all with links to the songs on Fretbase with tabs, chords, download links and walk-thrus):
