Guitar Aficionado Magazine

The first issue of Guitar Aficionado hit the newsstands in May, 2009.  Guitar Aficionado is published by Future US, which also publishes Guitar World.  According to The New York Times, the magazine is aimed at “buyers of $6,000 guitars who would also buy expensive liquor, cars and watches.”  Guitar Aficionado is not in any way affiliated with “Cigar Aficionado” other than the fact that they both have the word “aficionado” in their title.  The fact that guitar and cigar rhyme is pure coincidence according to the magazine’s publisher.
