In connection with the release of the new documentary It Might Get Loud, Time Magazine music critic Josh Tyrangiel has published a list of the 10 best electric guitar players. From our standpoint, the only thing this list stands out for is its lack of originality. Still, we’re darn excited about seeing It Might Get Loud so we’re still going to go ahead and publish the list. Read on for the entire list.

Looks like the party is over and Craig Deiffenbach of Electric Hendrix Spirits is left with a big hangover. The estate of Jimi Hendrix has won a trademark infringement lawsuit against Seattle businessman Dieffenbach, owner of Electric Hendrix Spirits, LLC for packaging his vodka in purple-tinted bottles with Hendrix’s face and signature above the label.
The lawsuit was filed in 2007 by the private owners of the Jimi Hendrix estate and they’ve been awarded a $3,200,000 judgment. Electric Hendrix Spirits has to cease all advertising and distribution of said vodka. There is still some of the vodka left for sale on Ebay but you’d better hurry. Full Story…
