Line 6 Relay G90

The Line 6 Relay G90 is the top-of-the-line digital wireless system from Line 6. Line 6’s new digital wireless systems eliminate audio interference that can plague other analog systems. In addition Line 6 has included a bunch of other features to help make the Relay G90 a high-quality wireless system for musicians.

The Relay G90 is a rack mounted system that features XLR and 1/4-inch outs, AES/EBU 96kHz/24-bit digital out, tuner pass-thru and is powered by a standard 9VDC power adapter. Similar to the other Relay models the G90 uses Line 6’s exclusive VWT (Virtual Wire Transmission) technology to ensure a full-range of frequency response, excellent transient response, and wide dynamic range – just like a high-quality guitar cable.

The Line 6 Relay G90 also includes “cable tone simulation” that recreates the top end roll-off that’s found in using cables of various lengths. In addition the Relay G90 doesn’t use a compander – a system that’s found in analog systems that can reduce the dynamic range of the signal. By not using a compander the system keeps high-end sparkle and low-end punch intact.
