The BOSS ME-25 is packed with powerful features and includes a built-in sound library gives you access to dozens of classic and modern effects. The user can choose a category, select a variation, and start playing. You can further customize your sound with simple twists of the Drive, Tone, and Volume knobs. With COSM amp models onboard, plus Super Stack and Phrase Loop (with 38 seconds of recording time), the ME-25 is a dream processor for upstart guitarists who want great sound and ease of use. The ME-25 also includes a uilt-in AUX input for jamming along with external music devices (MP3/CD players, etc.) and Cakewalk SONAR 8.5 LE software. For power the ME-25 runs on six AA batteries or AC adaptor.

The BOSS ME-25 replaces the ME-20 in BOSS’ line up of multi-effects processors.

  • Pros: Tons of sounds, easy to tweak and program. Handy phrase looper, custom sounds, no sound you can't create. I play hard rock, and this beats my pedal set-up anyday. Built in NS, lots of new stuff and links to the computer. Built solid. Good product
  • Cons: Looper's only 38 seconds, and only has one button (still works great). Each sound must be programmed for effects (custom), with only two pedals faster songs require much more attention. I'd also like more storage room on-board.
  • Experience: I own it

  • Pros: Phrase Looper! Tons of sounds. Really easy to use and Program. Comes with software to do EVEN more, including recording. Compact, doesn't take up the whole floor. FREEZE function, a great new feature for the expression pedal. Great for live shows
  • Cons: Well, it only has 2 memory pedals and 60 settings on-board. Pre-programming is a MUST for gigging. I could use a little more storage space,and a few more pedals. Looper's only 38 seconds, which is great,but I'd like it to be a little longer.
