Description: Washburn Idol WI66 PROEDIT
First released in 1999 the Washburn Idol WI-66 Pro represents one of Washburn’s top of the line of electric guitars. The Idol WI-66 comes in two main variations – a gold top with stacked P90s or with Seymour Duncan humbuckers in either two sunburst variations or in all black.
The Washburn Idol WI-66 Pro also comes with Washburn’s VCC coil-tapping technology that allow you to incrementally blend from a humbucker sound to a single coil sound. This differs from most coil-tapping switches which are usually an on/off switch.
Also the Washburn Idol WI-66 include the Buzz Feiten Tuning System that uses “which uses a compensated nut and saddle to correct the inherent intonation problems of the Western tuning formula”.
