Reviews: Fender Road Worn '50s Telecaster
its everything i wanted in a guitar

- Pros: reliced and aged already, best playing and action neck, excellent sounding texmex pickups versatile for a blues rock band
- Cons: relicing on fretboard looks stenciled.
- Experience: I own it
i took a chance and ordered this guitar from sam ash music in atlanta because they did not have one in stock. ordinarily, i dont buy guitars that i cannot pickup and feel and play but, fender really pumped it up in advertising so, i took that chance and have no regrets.it played perfect right out of the box.i have been a gigging musician for over 20 years and this tele is sweet.i gigged the day i got it and ended up playing it all night! a mexican tele who would have ever guessed?! i own les pauls, stratocasters, and now this tele, i love it. i play with reckless abandon and get tired of having to be careful when i play. this battered tele is already done for me , WOW! so thats why i gave a 5star rating on this guitar, fantastic right out of the box, the feel ,the tone, the look, the playability. way to go fender!!!!!
