Description: Gibson SG Raw PowerEDIT
The Gibson SG Raw Power is a re-release of the Raw Power series that Gibson announced at the 2009 Musikmesse in Frankfurt, Germany. The series originally ran from 2000 – 20001 before Gibson reintroduced the series with updated features.
The SG Raw Power from Gibson USA features a solid maple body with a three-piece solid maple neck, topped with a maple fingerboard, which produces a brighter tone than the traditional mahogany wood used on the original SG. The guitar has two Gibson ’57 Classic humbucker pickups without the covers and comes in a variety of colors with a satin finish.
