The Martin D-16 Adironidack continues the tradition of Martin’s D-16 series guitars – quality all solid-wood construction priced lower than Martin’s D-20-series of guitars. The new in 2009 (the guitar was introduced at the Summer NAMM show) Martin D-16 Adirondack is a solid mahogany Dreadnought body combined with a select Adirondack red spruce top and carefully braced with Adirondack spruce braces and scalloped using Martin’s Hybrid X pattern. The Martin D-16 Adirondack is inlaid in the “Old 18 Style” as are the body bindings.
