The Martin 000-28VS was once the largest (and loudest) guitar offered by Martin. The Martin 000-28VS has twelve frets clear of the body. The guitar has a rich bass response and a unique sound due to the proximity of the bridge to the soundhole.
The Martin 000-28VS is extra wide at the nut (1 13/16") making it a good choice for fingerstyle guitar players. It is also likely to feel more comfortable to those that are used to playing nylon string guitars which are also wider at the nut.
This guitar has been played by great singer-songwriters including Guy Clark.
