Description: Fender Acoustasonic TeleEDIT
The Fender Acoustasonic Tele is half electric guitar and half acoustic guitar, containing both Fishman Aurasystem piezo pickup and a Custom Shop Twisted Tele pickup with a chambered ash body. The neck is made of maple with a rosewood fretboard. The unique bridge is also built from rosewood and is a cross between the traditional six saddled Tele bridge and an acoustic guitar bridge in that it’s made from wood.
Previously Fender has released a Stratocaster version in 2003 called the Fender Acoustasonic Strat, however the construction of the Acoustasonic Tele is much different from it’s predecessor.
The Fender Acoustasonic Tele also received the Best of Show award from the 2010 Winter NAMM show.
