  • Pros: Wonderful rich sound. Beautiful wood choices. Tusq nut and saddle. Terrific look and playability.
  • Cons: Set-up out of box was pretty high, a little sanding on the saddle piece and it is perfect.
  • Experience: I own it
  • This guitar had exactly the rich and woody sound I was looking for -- but it also has clear sparkly highs. Amazingly balanced tones. I play finger style blues, jazz, classical, and folk (often in alternate tunings). This guitar is perfect for all these styles. Some may not like the wide nut, but I grew up playing on a classical guitar, so for me it feels perfect. I have small hands, but have no trouble with this guitar's neck at all.

I've been playing more than 25 years and played on all brands and price points. This guitar is solid wood and affordable. If you are looking for something that LOOKS fancy, with inlays and all that, but don't care much about tone - look elsewhere. This is a tone machine with classic styling, that will just sound better as it ages. Amazing value for all that you get!

I would absolutely buy this again. I wish I had more than one!
