Hagstrom Viking

The Hagstrom Viking is one of Hagstrom’s most popular guitars. The Viking is a versatile hollowbody guitar that can cover genres from rock to blues to jazz and has standout ability to sustain notes. The body is built from laminated maple with a set solid maple neck at a 24.75" scale length. The fretboard is made from Hagstrom’s own “Resinator Wood” that is a composite wood much like ebony but without the associated problems that come with ebony fretboards. The neck also contains Hagstrom’s H-Expander Truss Rod that allows them to build thin necks with low string action providing a very fast feel. The pickups are Hagstrom HJ-50 humbuckers that are controlled with a 3-way toggle switch on the upper bout of the guitar.
