Description: Gibson John Hiatt J-45EDIT
Gibson is making the Gibson John Hiatt J-45 in a limited run of 100 guitars.
The Gibson John Hiatt J-45 has Gibson’s traditional “round-shouldered” dreadnought body and combines John Hiatt’s own specifications of solid Sitka spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, and one-piece mahogany neck with “modified V” profile and 24 3/4”-scale Madagascar rosewood fingerboard. The guitar is designed for the professional singer-songwriter (albeit one that is happy to have a signature model named after yet another professional signature songwriter).
The Gibson John Hiatt J-45 also has upgraded details such as advanced, scalloped X bracing, a Fishman Ellipse matrix blend and preamp system, a bone nut and Tusq saddle. The guitar also has a “John Hiatt” signature engraved truss-rod cover.
