Description: Taylor GC5EDIT

The Taylor GC5 (Grand Concert) is small-bodied guitar built for fingerstyle and/or vocal accompaniment. Reminiscent of Martin’s OM series, the GC5 is quite loud for its size and stands out in its ability to provide a focused sound—great for recording and performing on stage into a microphone. It sports a red cedar top (for a slightly mellower sound than spruce) and tropical American mahogany back/sides. The GC5’s slotted peghead suggests an Old World charm while its gloss top/back/sides and abalone inlays are subtle displays of modern elegance. Ebony is used for the bridge and neck while Tusq is used for the nut/saddle. Electronics can be added.
