Reviews: Washburn D10SCE
Exceptional instrument at any price, astonishing value.

- Pros: Tone, craftsmanship, action and excellent Fishman pickup.
- Cons: Only one strap button, yes, honestly that's all that's wrong with it!
- Experience: I own it
I would replace it with the same model if I had to. I play a wide range of styles of music, jazz, blues, rock, contemporary folk and standards using both plectrum and finger picking. I own a Martin, a Gibson and a Seagull and the Washburn is as good a player's instrument as any of those. For a "young" solid top the tone is exceptionally full and mellow. I had to bring the action down a tad but it is now perfect, no buzzing and excellent intonation.I would recommend it to anyone, but it is best suited to a working musician, the tuner and Fishman electronics are superb, giving a most natural acoustic sound.
I bought it from Evangelismos Music in Nicosia, Cyprus for an unbelievable €240, admittedly without a case, but they delivered across the island by taxi at no charge. I am delighted with the guitar and the service I received.- Was this review helpful? Yes - No
