Reviews: Fender Lite Ash Stratocaster
Flat out the best deal on a mid/high end strat out!

- Pros: First off the lite is not weight, its the finish of the ash body! Ash is a heavy tone wood, beautiful birdseye maple neck w/22 frets, 2 point tremolo and seymour duncan pickups all stock! The quality is easily better than my highway one usa strat!
- Cons: I dont like OEM Fender nuts or tuners! Even on my USA strats.....I put on locking tuners...which is the first thing I would do to any strat..even a squire! Graph Tech makes some great nut material...tusq, graphite, etc...I highly recommend them.
- Experience: I own it
I have a highway one usa strat, a MIM Floyd Hss strat and two of the lite ash strats! One bone stock in a case and one that has a JB junior HB in the Bridge, graph tech saddles, nut and trem nuts, a white pearl guard and staggered locking tuners! Its my favorite strat by far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Always change the string when you get a new guitar...the strings that came on this were total crap and broke within a week or so! New high ratio tuners, like 18:1 or even higher, or lockin tuners are the best thing you can do for ANY strat if you use the trem at all. The OEM nuts are ok for a while...but most are pretty soft.
I love this guitar...the neck, trem and pickups are on par with ANY usa made strat Ive ever played or seen! I got one of mine used for 400$ from Guitar Center in Jersey....
Get them while you can...they arent made anymore. Its the best deal on any strat Ive ever seen!
Rock and roll!
