Collings guitars have been hand-made in Austin, Texas since 1989. The company also manufactures mandolins and has been hinting about getting into the ukulele business.
Collings guitars are played by many great guitarists including: Keith Richards, Lyle Lovett, Pete Townshend, Emmylou Harris, Andy Summers, David Crosby, Chris Hillman, Joni Mitchell, Don Felder, John Sebastian, Lou Reed, John Fogerty, Tim O’Brien, Pete Huttlinger, Kenny Smith, Brian May, Joan Baez, John Prine and the great Nigel Tufnel of Spinal Tap. Collings Guitars also has an official website. Collings also builds handmade mandolins
