Alvarez Guitars

Alvarez Guitars was founded 1965 by Japanese luthier Kazuo Yairi and worked with an American company to help design his product line. Today Alvarez is owned by LOUD Technologies, Inc., based in Woodinville, Washington. The top-of-line “Alavrez Yairi” guitars are still hand-made in Japan by Kazou Yairi. Most other models are manufactured in China and imported to the US and other countries.
