“Come as You Are” is a song by the American grunge band Nirvana, written by frontman Kurt Cobain. The song was released as the second single from the band’s second album Nevermind (1991) in March 1992. It was the band’s second American Top 40 hit, reaching number 32 on the Billboard charts. The music video for the song, the band’s first collaboration with director Kevin Kerslake, used imagery that referenced the cover art of Nevermind. The song is ranked 445 on Rolling Stone’s The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
