Thank you for this site. I can't believe that so many people, even people like Jack Black, are saying this was done by Cat Stevens. Harry Chapin and obviously his wife, Sandy Chapin deserve the credit for this well done song. It really shows how are kids can end up doing the exact things they were shown as children. I believe the son did this with everyone and not just his father. Sad but a true song, even for daughters.
